UK Biometrics welcomes its new Regional Directors
The world’s only ‘fingerprint entry’ biometric franchise, UK Biometrics Franchise Ltd has appointed the first four of twenty eight franchise regions, in Liverpool, Manchester, Bournemouth and Glasgow.
Matthew Flack
Matthew Flack has opened offices in Bromsborough to serve Liverpool, the Wirral and North Wales. He brings eighteen years logistical and project delivery experience in the construction industry, the last five running his own consultancy company in the North West.
Matthew says, “The growth potential for biometric systems on Merseyside is tremendous and we already have a lot of interest from schools and businesses who see the benefit of the only access system that cannot be lost, stolen or copied – the human fingerprint”.
Roderick Harrington and Peter Stone
Roderick Harrington and Peter Stone bring international purchasing and sales experience with blue chip UK companies to their new franchise. Roderick and Peter have opened up in Manchester to serve Greater Manchester, Cheshire and West Lancashire. They have recently secured four significant contracts to install biometric door access systems into Nursery Schools within their region.
Rod comments, “We had traveled the World during our past business experience and had reached the stage where we were looking for a business that we could grow on a local basis and that would allow us to use our wide and varied experience to the full. We feel that our UK Biometrics franchise fulfils this requirement exactly”.
During February another two regional offices opened when Sally Glover took on the Bournemouth region and Brian Gray opened up in Glasgow.
Sally Glover brings almost twenty years experience in IT and technology publishing with a global publishing organization to her new role.

company. Although I have benefited from considerable sales experience in the past,
biometrics was a new industry for me. By the end of the comprehensive induction and sales
training courses, I had gained extensive knowledge on both the products and the sales
techniques and felt extremely confident to go out into the market place”
Brian Gray
Brian Gray, a very successful businessman within the construction industry has opened up the Glasgow and West of Scotland region.
Brian comments, “ I have been involved in the construction industry for many years and saw a massive opportunity in being the first bespoke biometric company in Scotland to be able to offer hi-tech, biometric solutions to a to a wide range of industries, both large and small. Locks, swipe card and pin systems were fine in their day, but they are simply not as secure and easy to use as fingerprint controlled systems”
