Franchise Business Review's 2007 Franchise 50 Awards
FBR recently administered owner-satisfaction surveys to more than 300 US based franchising
companies, using the results to compile its prestigious "Franchise 50" ranking
for 2007 - a listing in which the Home Instead Senior Care network placed second overall,
and first in the FBR home-care category. Whilst these results refer to our US operations
the same attention to detail and systems have been applied in the UK and Ireland and we
are very proud of the quality of operations we run in these countries. We have also spent
considerable time and resources adapting our processes, procedures and materials for the
local markets and in Ireland we have recently won the Best Emerging Franchise Award whilst
in the UK we were a finalist for the Best Franchisee Launch Programme.
Here are some of the individual survey results - obtained from more than 200 Home Instead
Senior Care business owners:
88 percent rated the ongoing training and support provided by the Home Office as
"very good" or "excellent."
95 percent of these owners said the quality of senior care services provided by the Home
Instead Senior Care network is "very good" or "excellent."
93 percent rated their franchises as being "very good" or "excellent"
as compared to their local competitors.
91 percent rated the long-term growth prospects for their business as "very
good" or "excellent."
On an overall basis, 91 percent rated the Home Instead Senior Care franchise network and
the business opportunities it provides as "very good" or "excellent."
When asked if they "would do it over again," 90 percent of these owners said
they would be likely to once again purchase a Home Instead Senior Care franchise.

Training
Our pre-training, training and post-training phases
are all designed to put new franchise owners on a fast track.
Our Pre-Training programme guides new owners through all the necessary business start-up
requirements. This enables the focus of franchise training to be on the systems,
procedures and operations required to run a successful franchise business. After leaving
our training sessions, our new Business Coaches will provide owners with intensive

Care Franchise Wins Two Major Awards

Leading Care Franchise Home Instead Senior Care last night won the Dignity In Care Award at the North West Regional Final of the Health and Social Care Awards. These are the flagship awards of the Department of Health and National Health Service. This is the second major award that Home Instead has won this month. On the 4th April they were awarded the Best International Franchise Expansion Programme at the Franchise Marketing Awards in London.
